Who We Are
France-Philippines United Action (FPUA) is a non-profit foundation established in 2013 by the French Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of France to the Philippines following Typhoon Haiyan. What began as a humanitarian response has evolved into a CSR platform connecting the private sector with local NGOs and communities to implement meaningful, sustainable initiatives across the Philippines. FPUA helps companies turn their CSR commitments into hands-on activities that create lasting value for communities.
FPUA develops and facilitates CSR activities that address community needs across education, environment, health, and livelihood. Working with companies, local NGOs, and community partners, we create opportunities for meaningful employee engagement and hands-on action—from youth programs and environmental activities to skills training and community initiatives—designed to deliver inclusive and lasting impact.
What We Do
Education
We support underserved youth through scholarships, educational assistance, and holistic learning programs that help remove barriers to education, strengthen academic development, and create opportunities for long-term success.
Environment
We promote environmental stewardship through hands-on initiatives such as coastal cleanups, tree planting, and sustainability activities. Through projects like Sustainable Shores and Root for the Future, we engage companies, communities, and volunteers in protecting ecosystems and creating lasting environmental impact.
Health
We support healthier communities through initiatives that improve access to essential health services, promote well-being, and address local health needs. Through partnerships with communities and organizations, we facilitate activities such as health education, medical support, and other community-based health initiatives.
Livelihood
We support economic resilience through skills development, livelihood activities, and community-based initiatives that create opportunities for self-reliance and sustainable income. Through partnerships with local communities and organizations, we help develop practical pathways toward greater financial stability and long-term economic empowerment.
