Who We Are
France-Philippines United Action (FPUA) is a non-profit foundation created after Typhoon Haiyan in 2013 by the French Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of France to the Philippines. What began as a joint humanitarian response has grown into a long-term commitment to building resilient and empowered communities. FPUA brings together the private sector, civil society, and local partners to deliver sustainable, community-led development across the Philippines.
FPUA implements programs that address urgent and long-term needs in education, environment, health, and livelihood. From building homes and classrooms to supporting youth scholarships, environmental action, and skills training, we work hand-in-hand with communities and partners to create inclusive, impactful, and lasting solutions.
What We Do
Education
We support underprivileged youth through scholarships, school infrastructure, and holistic educational programs that enable long-term academic success.
Environment
We promote environmental stewardship through coastal cleanups, tree planting, waste management, and youth engagement in sustainability initiatives.
Health
We contribute to healthier communities through access to clean water, sanitation, medical missions, and health education campaigns.
Livelihood
We build economic resilience by supporting skills training, community enterprises, and initiatives that foster self-reliance and financial stability.
